This performance was very well attended with over 700 in attendance. The chorus numbered 70 and there were six soloists.  Sarah Stockton, vocal music teacher at both Grand Blanc Middle School West and Grand Blanc High School was the guest director of the performance.  Ms. Stockton had been the soprano soloist in performances past, but this was her first year as director.  Dr. Joseph Daniel was the organist and this was Daniels third year as organist.

This year’s chorus was made up of community members, members of the New Century Chorale, and students from the Grand Blanc High School Chorale.  The performance concluded with the chorus being joined by the entire audience as they all sang the “Hallelujah Chorus”.  The performance, according to many audience members was, “the best one yet”.
